The Plugin

Version: 1.0.0

Simple Groom Wind adds physically based wind to any groom hair asset in Unreal Engine. Place a Groom Wind Source in the level, and you can control the direction and intensity of the wind flowing through your groom. This works in both the editor, runtime, and cinematic renders.

  2. Open the Groom asset and, under Physics, set Niagara Solver to Custom Solver. Assign the included Groom Wind system: the Springs version for straight or wavy hair, the Rods version for curly hair, or the most natural strand motion.
